014 - The MAC Lipstick Obsession!

I'm just new to this MAC Addiction and within a month and a half, I've put these babies close together. *Wink*. I've tried and had those popular shades like MAC Red, Ruby Woo, Ravishing, Freckletone, and Victorian but unfortunately, they're all finished to death. :D Here are the new ones in addition to my collection:

L-R:
Flamingo
Pink Pigeon
Skew
Marisheeno
Syrup
Runaway Red
Creme Cup
Viva Glam Nicki
Lovelorn
Pink Nouveau
Saint Germain
Russian Red

I took photos and swatched them each for you guys to see and have reference. Ehem... Pictures are in no particular order :)

SATIN Pink Nouveau
This is the Perfect Barbie Pink Lippie! It's more of a light HOT pink shade with a slightly bluish undertone. It is not too intense and can be an everyday colour. :)

LUSTRE Lovelorn
I like this for simple days. It's a Nude-ish light pink (Imagine Lipstain and Balm). Very light and sexy. Best worn with a  winged eyeliner and light pink blush. :)

SATIN Viva Glam Nicki (Limited Edition)
This one's a bright pink with yellow undertones more like of the Flamingo. I am not a fan. Oh well.

CREMESHEEN Creme Cup
Indeed one of MAC's best selling shades. Its the perfect nude/mauve or natural color with a hint of peach. Looks perfect on smokey eyes. ;)

FROST Skew
This ones a frost lippie. It's a peach/coral shade with pink and blue frosted shimmer undertone. I'd wear it in Summer or with a tan. :P

MATTE Pink Pigeon
This is like Candy Yum Yum and Barry M's Shocking Pink. Bright Hot Pink with Blue undertones. Indeed an intense shade. Perfect for a bare back and high pumps! SEXAAAY!

AMPLIFIED Saint Germain
I often see this shade featured on the magazines and this is Nicki Minaj's favorite (so when you see her wearing a pale bright pink lipstick, it's Saint Germain!). I think it's kinda like NYX's Strawberry Milk.
LUSTRE Marisheeno
It's a sheer peachy coral. It's nice on Brown, Bronze or Gold Eye makeup :)
SATIN Runaway Red
I just love this color! It's dark red but not too dark like Diva (Vampy Lips). I'd wear this on a Sunny day.
LUSTRE Syrup
Pinkish Mauve Color. Looks kinda Frosted. But sheer when applied on lips.
SATIN Flamingo
It's a Yellow-Based Peach. It actually looks like Viva Glam Nicki for me. BIt would be nice to wear it with an apricot blush and long natural lashes. :)
Tadaaaaa! My newest collections. I hope my swatches helped you out, girls! Til' next time!

By the way, What's your favorite MAC Lipstick?

013 - Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge

Hi there! I'd like to make a little review about these so-called "Beauty Blenders". I have this Fine Make Up Sponge, It's a Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge and it gives you an airbrushed finish. It's nice because the sponge pores are super duper small (Micro - as they call it). It looks like this:

This is a picture of  dry one. Please don't mind the make up stain. Lol.
This is actually comparable to THE BEAUTY BLENDER. It's cheaper and I think this one's better because of its unique shape. It's Flat at the bottom and Pointy at the top. The first time I used this, I did't look for the instructions, I just used it right away and I said "Hey? Why is it stiff and coarse!". Stupid me, I just found out the next day that you need to wet it with water for it to acquire the softness and expand its size. Haha!
It got a little bigger. :D
After putting in in running water, you need to squeeze all the liquid inside to make it fluffy and soft.

It is now, WAY BIGGER than the dry one. :D

The reason why you need to make it wet is for it to have a "shield" for your liquid foundation. If it's dry, it'll just absorb all the liquid foundation and you'll end up putting none of it on your face. :D
It also works with dry compact or loose powder. The only thing you won't like about this sponge is it absorbs the color of your make up and may leave a stain on it. I tried using the the Parian Spirit Brush and Sponge Cleaner but it still doesn't come off. Maybe a few more rounds of cleaning and it'll go back to normal. Haha.

Hope you enjoyed my blog! Keep on visiting this and also, follow me at Instagram, just search kathsundiam. :)

011 - The Lip Stains!

Hello Guys! I've been busy for awhile, I haven't updated my blog yet. Anyway, here's one of the scheduled posts for today:

Lip Stains. Lip Tints. Or whatsoever. I've been using these for awhile now. It's like wearing a colored marker on your lips. :D It gives ample color and stays long too (But not as long as the long wear lipsticks). It's nice because you won't be dealing with lip balm or lipstick issues like greasy-ness, glossy-ness and sticky-ness. :D I have a few to share with you, and here they are:

From L-R:
Etude House Follow Me Magic Tint
Etude House 55 Kissful Tint Chou
Revlon Just Bitten in Frenzy
Covergirl Outlast in #405 Berry Smooch
Covergirl Outlast in #410 Bit of Blossom
Tony Moly Tint in Cherry Pink
Korres Lip Butter Glaze in Raspberry

THE SWATCHES
L-R: Follow Me, 55 Kissful Chou, Just Bitten Frenzy, CG Berry Smooch, CG Bit of Blossom,
Tony Moly Cherry Pink, Korres Raspberry

FOLLOW ME TINT: This tint is nice. It's actually like a lip balm but with a bit of Pink-ish color. The smell's nice too, don't know how to describe the scent though.

KISSFUL CHOU TINT: It's like a lip butter glaze with a Pink-ish Coral touch. Smells and tastes like Cherry Gum. Hehe.

JUST BITTEN FRENZY: This one is the best tint ever!  I always put this under my red lipstick for a PERFECT RED finish. It also come with a lip balm at the end of the pen. :)

BERRY SMOOCH: This one is like a mauve-y berry tint. The scent is nice but not long lasting.

BIT OF BLOSSOM: Fuchsia colored Tint. Nice too, but again, not long lasting.

TONY MOLY CHERRY PINK: I actually don't get it why it's labeled Cherry PINK. All I can see is RED. :D Its highly pigmented and can be used as cheek tint too. Just avoid putting too much. The wand applicator  is a disaster.

KORRES RASPBERRY: This lip glaze/lip butter is nice. I just don't like the scent . It hydrates and softens your lips and puts a very light tint on your pout. :)

Hope this post helped you out! I'll be posting a blog or two in a few minutes. So, keep on visiting me!

007 - Hello, Rucy's Vanity!

Hello Ladies! Now, I'm gonna make a review for Rucy's Vanity. I believe it's a Korean brand but unlike other Korean products, this one is SOOOOO Inexpensive! I got these babies at a mall beside our Village (They have a stall at Ever Gotesco Mall, Ortigas). Uhmmm, I don't actually know where the other branches of this Beauty line are located. Here you go:

I have 4 Gleamy Lipsticks, 1 BB cream and 1 Foundie.

THE LIPSTICKS
On the Label: "Long Lasting, Soften and Smooth, Shiney and Glossy"
Each one comes in a 4.5g tube. The colors are nice. Other shades are too sheer for me, like the
Qute Pink and Brown, You need to apply more. But the Hot Pink and Orange are intense but too glossy for me. Still not bad for a PHP120.00 tube.

From L-R:
Qute Pink
Brown
Hot Pink
Orange

THE SWATCH
QUTE PINK: It's more of a "Pink Nouveau-ish" color. Quite nice.
BROWN: I don't get it why it's labeled brown, It looks like Dark Reddish Brown for me.
The color is nice, but too sheer.
HOT PINK: This is the best color so far. It is comparable to MAC's Pink Pigeon,
but with a glossy finish.
ORANGE: This Tangerine shade goes best with an Apricot Blush. Fresh Color.

THE MAKE UP CREAMS
Above: Pearl Foundation
Below: Pearl B.B. Cream

PEARL BB CREAM
SPF 30 PA+++
UV Protection, Anti-Wrinkle Glittering Finish,
Whitening and Moisturizing
NET WT.: 8ml

This BB cream is nice, it has a powdery scent and a glittery finish. The color seems natural and it fits most shades since it's a BB Cream. It has a nice texture and feels light on skin. It doesn't feel sticky and
I think this would be perfect for a night-out. No need to apply a highlighter on top since it's shimmery already. Each 8ml tube costs PHP70.00. I am not joking! :)

PEARL FOUNDATION
SPF 30 PA+++
Contains Green Tea
Whitening and Moisturizing
NET WT.: 8ml

This Foundie is like a PEARL base. I don't see myself using this as my foundation, but it might work as
a make up base. It's too "Pearly" and shimmery to act as a foundation, even if you top it with loose powder (Believe me, I already tried it!). This one costs PHP70.00, too. Not bad, it's worth a shot. :)

There you go, that was my "RUCY'S VANITY" Haul. They are really cheap, and I think it is worth buying. Thank you for reading my post, and keep on visiting "The Beauty Diary".

By the way, Do you already have Rucy's Vanity in your area?

Kisses,
Kath :)
