Hi there! I'd like to make a little review about these so-called "Beauty Blenders". I have this Fine Make Up Sponge, It's a Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge and it gives you an airbrushed finish. It's nice because the sponge pores are super duper small (Micro - as they call it). It looks like this:

This is a picture of dry one. Please don't mind the make up stain. Lol. |
This is actually comparable to THE BEAUTY BLENDER. It's cheaper and I think this one's better because of its unique shape. It's Flat at the bottom and Pointy at the top. The first time I used this, I did't look for the instructions, I just used it right away and I said "Hey? Why is it stiff and coarse!". Stupid me, I just found out the next day that you need to wet it with water for it to acquire the softness and expand its size. Haha!

It got a little bigger. :D |
After putting in in running water, you need to squeeze all the liquid inside to make it fluffy and soft.
|
It is now, WAY BIGGER than the dry one. :D

The reason why you need to make it wet is for it to have a "shield" for your liquid foundation. If it's dry, it'll just absorb all the liquid foundation and you'll end up putting none of it on your face. :D
It also works with dry compact or loose powder. The only thing you won't like about this sponge is it absorbs the color of your make up and may leave a stain on it. I tried using the the Parian Spirit Brush and Sponge Cleaner but it still doesn't come off. Maybe a few more rounds of cleaning and it'll go back to normal. Haha.
Hope you enjoyed my blog! Keep on visiting this and also, follow me at Instagram, just search kathsundiam. :)
Love,
